Understanding the Seven Directions: Walking the Path to Healing our Relationship with Self, Our Relations, and the Land

“It was often I would hear during my speaking engagements, healing circles or consults, that I need to write a book. So for the last few years I have been writing excerpts here and there, not exactly sure where the story would lead me. Until recently I realized that the book would go hand-in-hand with a workshop series and a workbook. Of all the hats that I wear, it comes down to me being a Healer first and foremost and wanting us all to gather together on the right path forward. This path is what our 8th Fire Prophecy calls the Red Road.”

These workshops will explore what Indigenous people from Turtle Island refer to as the Seven Directions, and will offer Indigenous perspectives on Wellbeing through Jenny’s unique experiences and understanding of the Medicine Wheel and Grandfather Teachings. As a healer and mentor, Jenny believes that it comes down to this powerful path forward to holistic wellbeing. Jenny is a renowned speaker on this topic and believes that these offerings can help us to understand and overcome our wounds, to live more authentically and purposefully, and to create a more peaceful and harmonious world for All.

Jenny has been described as someone who holds a space of “warmth and grace”, and leads “inspirational and emotional” sessions. In the traditional Indigenous healing circle (albeit via zoom) style, participants will find the space to feel safe and sacred. Jenny wants you to feel loved, and to give you a sense of belonging and purpose. Birthed from her workshop “Show Yourself: Stepping Into Your Power”, completion of all seven sessions will leave participants feeling (re)connected to the beautiful Eternal Web in the Sacred Hoop Life in which we are all interconnected. Participants will understand their Oneness with Nature, the Universe and each other. Consider these workshops the ultimate power retrieval.

So, if this calls to you - you will learn about the meaning of each direction, and will have the opportunity to practice applying these teachings in your own lives. Each session is an opportunity for healing, and you will receive resources and tools for continuing your path to self-care and wellbeing.

This workshop is open to all adults, and will be held every month. Each session will last 3 hours to ensure a mix of lecture, discussion, experiential exercises and Ceremony. 

Between each session, local participants to the Ottawa area, or for those of you who would like to travel, you will be welcomed to further your understanding at in-person workshops at the Misiwe Ni Relations Healing Lodge, at a discounted Misiwe membership rate.
