Healing with Mother Earth: An Earthing Workshop

Earthing, also known as grounding, is the practice of connecting oneself to the Earth's energy by being barefoot on the ground or by using specialized grounding mats, sheets, or patches. Our traditional Indigenous moccasins and mukluks also allow for this process, as the hide being an organic material, allows the energy to transfer through. Today’s modern footwear does not.

We are bioelectrical beings, and the Earth has a negative electric charge. This negative charge can help to balance the positive charge in our bodies that is caused by exposure to electromagnetic radiation from electronic devices and other sources.

Proponents of earthing claim that it can improve sleep, reduce inflammation, alleviate pain, and improve overall health by allowing the body to absorb negative ions from the Earth's surface.

I believe that earthing is a sacred and spiritual practice that allows us to connect with Mother Earth on a deeper level. When we spend time outside, truly connecting to her, feet on the ground, sensitive and compassionate to her touch, it's not just about energy transfer. It's about embracing a very sacred and spiritual relationship.

I am offering a two-hour virtual workshop on earthing. In this workshop, you will learn about the benefits of earthing, how to do it safely and effectively, and how to create a more earthed lifestyle. You will also receive your very own earthing strap for your favorite pair of outdoor runners.
